4 Paws Dogs with Puppy Raisers

The dogs in this section are dogs that families in the community have offered to raise puppies for 4 Paws. They may have a child in 4H who works with the dog and takes the dog through obedience training to compete at the local and State fairs. They may just live with a family who knows how much these dogs will offer their new partners once trained and wanted to be a part of that. Whatever their reason, their sacrifice is great. They have the dogs for usually about a year and then return them to 4 Paws for advanced training. this is never an easy thing to see as the family is usually in tears and Kleenex are needed in abundance but they know that a special child will soon walk away with the dog they so lovingly raised and when that day comes, they again shed tears but this time they are tears of joy! Some of the families come to visit the new families on graduation day and that is always "way cool!".

DOODLE	MESA	SHENANDOAH
Doodle was born February 7, 2007 and is living with the Rhoton family (Steve, Debbie, Emilie 10 yrs and Aaron 9 yrs) and is doing great! This family home schools their children and socializing Doodle is part of the rounded education their children receive! Doodle has been to ball games, stores, and loads of fun places. Doodle came to 4 Paws from The Wayne County Humane Society with his brother Yankee. They are the Yankee Doodle Boys!	Mesa is one of the National Parks Gang born last year to our own Allie and Hobo. Mesa and her siblings are Goldendoodles and have great days ahead of them! They were born November 9, 2007. Mesa visits a nursing home!	Shenandoah was born 11-9-2007 and is a member of the National Parks Gang born to Mom: Allie and Dad: Hobo. Shenandoah, a Goldendoodle, is being fostered by

HONOR	Hope
Honor is one of the MJ x Hobo crew born at 4 Paws. She was born April 26, 2007. Honor is a Goldendoodle and is being raised by the Christiansen Family! Honor is their second 4 Paws Puppy. Autumn can be seen on the in training page with her 4H handler Ashley Christiansen who will compete with Honor in the next fair season!	Hope has recently joined Andrea and Ruby. As you can see she is settling right in and is doing well. Hope is the only girl in the MJ x Hobo litter and hopes to make her sister Faith, who went to be a service angel in heaven, proud one day! She was born April 26, 2007. Hope is the 4th puppy Andrea has raised through 4 Paws.




BRYCE	ACADIA	ZITI
Bryce was born 11-9-2007 and is a member of the National Parks Gang born to Mom: Allie and Dad: Hobo. Bryce, a Goldendoodle, is being fostered by the Mark's family.	Acadia was bron 11-9-2007 and is a member of the National Parks Gang born to Mom: Allie and Dad: Hobo. Acadia, a Goldendoodle, is being fostered by Michelle and the Varick Family.	Ziti is one of Opal and Hobo's pups. She is a Goldendoodle born 10-30-2007. Ziti is being fostered by the family who had Honor who is now back for advanced training. Thanks Bridget and family for taking another 4 Paws dogs!

Tomorrow's Dream

These dogs are in our breeding program. As we have grown we have found the need for very special and awesome dogs much larger than the numbers of suitable candidates from the shelters we work at. We have also identified needs that can't be met by most shelter dogs as the dogs with these types of temperaments needed are rarely surrendered by their owners for adoption. Currently we have German Shepherds who live with Piper and I in our home, some Golden Retrievers, Papillons, and a White Standard Poodle named Hobo. The talk around the office is that some Yellow Labs will be added to the program this year. Piper is one of the 4 Paws breeding dogs. In fact 4 Paws is hoping Piper and Skittles will settle down soon and decide to have some babies.

KIMBA	TESS
Kimba is a beautiful Goldrush Golden Retriever purchased this year to add to our breeding program. She came to 4 Paws with her sister Kiera. These girls are half sisters to our own Dreamer who had her first 4 Paws litter this last year. Their father, like Dreamer's also, is Champion Gold-Rush National Treasure.	This is Goldrush From 4 Paws Tayah, aka Tess. Tess was born 7-10-2005. Her father is Champion Gold-Rush Spinniker Wildcard and her Mom is Gold-Rush Patient Dreamer. Tess lives with David and Joann Shirk. Bred by Ann Johnson.

ALLIE	CHAMPION ESME
Allie aka Mervar's 4 Paws Tomorrow's Dream is a Golden Retriever born 9-17-2005. Her parents are Telcontar's Testament at Mervar and Deangate Mervar's Best Western. Allie is a happy loving dog who lives with the Varick family and Nakita most of the time. Michelle also competes in 4H with Allie.	Esme aka Champion Laxfield's 4 Paws From Heaven is sired by Champion Kismet's A Sight for Sore Eyes aka Dallas and her dam is Red Rock's Champaign Kisses. Esme was born 2-2-2005. She has been out with her handlers this past year and is now officially a Champion. We look for great things from this girl. Esme pups are planned!

BOO	PIPER
Boo aka Basking in Her Glory Chablis was sired by Mari-Fiori The Fever and her dam is Stylistic's Magnolia Blossums. Boo has bred her first 4 Paws litter and the sire of the litter is American/Canadian Select Champion Witmer's Jamiroquia. They had 4 boys and 2 girls. At 4 months of age all 4 boys evaluated by professional handlers and declared show quality! At this point all 6 pups are in the service dog program with one male to be selected for the 4 Paws Tomorrow's Dream Breeding Program. BLESSING	DREAMER
4 Paws is pleased to add Big Ben aka "4 Paws In Memory of Big Ben" and Blessing aka "4 Paws Blessings for those to come" to our breeding program. These two mark the first additions of Labrador Retrievers to our program with several more to follow! Ben and Blessing were purchased from a local breeder who bred solely for temperament and companionship qualities, both high on the list of requirements for a dog in our program! Ben and Blessing were born September 29, 2007.	Dreamer aka Gold-Rush from 4 Paws Dreamer is a wonderful girl from Gold-Rush kennels. Her sire is Champion Gold-Rush National Treasure and her dam is Gold-Rush Legally Blind. She was born December 16, 2005 and is currently residing at the Lakin Correctional Facility. Dreamer is an awesome girl with great drive!

NORMAN	HOBO
Norman is a wonderful Golden Retriever donated by Deangate Goldens. He is living with Tara ____ and often attends school with her as a therapy dog. Norman was born July 29, 2007.	Hobo aka 4 Paws I Ain't No Hobo was born 7-5-2006. His sire is Galan Monito Dulce and his dam is Brandy Peaches La Rue. I NEED A BREEDING HOME!

GOLD-RUSH 4 PAWS DAYO FOR CONNOR aka CONNOR

BEN

Dayo is a half brother to Tess. His father is also Champion Gold-Rush Spinniker Wildcard. Dayo was born September 29, 2007 and should be a great sire for many 4 Paws pups in the future. In the meantime, he has taken up residence with 4 Paws Trainer, Jennifer Varick who named him after our friend Connor who resides with the angels and the 4 Paws service angels. It is a good thing to have a 4 Paws legacy with such a mighty name!
